Questo whisky fu distillato presso la storica distilleria Dallas Dhu nella regione dello Speyside nel 1977 e messo in bottiglia nel 1996 come cask strength. Tale release cattura la vera essenza di un single malt originario di una distilleria oggi chiusa, con personalità intensa e ricca. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

La distilleria Dallas Dhu fu fondata nel 1898 vicino a Forres, in Scozia. La struttura operò fino al 1983, quando chiuse e divenne un museo del whisky gestito da Historic Scotland. Nella sua storia, Dallas Dhu non ha avuto grande diffusione come single malt ufficiale, ma è noto come una fonte importante di spirito per blended. Oggi le imbottigliamenti indipendenti ne preservano la memoria e offrono whisky unici da collezione. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

Origine Storica E Produzione

Il Dallas Dhu 1977 Whisky proviene da un singolo cask, imbottigliato alla sua forza naturale senza filtrazione a freddo e senza aggiunta di coloranti. Cadenhead’s, il più antico imbottigliatore indipendente di Scozia, è noto per selezionare botti con grande carattere e intensità. La serie Authentic Collection celebra proprio queste espressioni pure e non alterate. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}

Profilo Aromatico E Palato

All’olfatto questo whisky rivela profumi complessi di malto dolce, frutta tropicale e note di vaniglia e legno antico. Alcuni degustatori percepiscono anche accenni di mango, jackfruit e nettarine mature, con un lieve tocco speziato che bilancia la dolcezza. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}

Sapore Ricco E Corposo

Al gusto, la miscela mostra una struttura piena con sapori di frutta matura, burro, vaniglia e una sottile nota di legno tostato. La forza in botte accentua la ricchezza e permette al whisky di esprimere tutte le sue sfumature, rendendolo memorabile. :contentReference[oaicite:4]{index=4}

Finale Persistente

Il finale è lungo e soddisfacente, con ritorni di frutta dolce e spezie leggere che accompagnano la chiusura. Questo equilibrio tra dolcezza e complessità è tipico dei single malt Speyside di qualità, ma è particolarmente evidente in versioni come questa 1977 cask strength di Dallas Dhu. :contentReference[oaicite:5]{index=5}

La chiusura della distilleria negli anni ’80 ha reso le bottiglie come il Dallas Dhu 1977 Whisky molto ricercate da collezionisti e appassionati.
